Mavericks - Transportation
Transportation Applications are due by April 1st for the following school year. - Applications for school bus transportation of students residing in the Morrisville-Eaton Central School District, who will attend private or parochial schools during the school year, must be filed on or before April 1st for the following school year.
A New York State Department of Transportation regulation permits applications after April 1st, only if there is sufficient evidence to warrant an extension of the deadline. The Board of Education will determine whether late applications can be processed. The deadline of April 1st applies to current school district residents.
Parents of private or parochial school students who wish uninterrupted service for their children must have an application filed for each child, every year. Applications are available at the private/parochial schools and must be forwarded to the

Transportation News
The district has limited the number of buses on the road in a attempt to maximize bus routes. This has resulted in maximizing the number of students assigned to a route. To assure that there is adequate seating for all assigned students, the district discourages students to ride a different bus for the purpose of non-school social events (i.e. sleepovers, parties, etc.) Your understanding in this matter is appreciated.
Late Bus Departure Times:
September to Mid October: Depart Middle/High School at 5:00 p.m. No Elementary Departure
Mid October to End of School Year: Depart Middle/High School at 4:50 p.m. Depart Elementary School at 5:00 p.m.

Traffic in the Bus Circles
We would like to minimize the traffic in the bus circle at the Middle/High School. If you are bringing your child to school or picking them up during the hours of 7:00 am to 8:30 am or from 1:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. we ask that you drop them off in the school parking lot. During these times we would like to keep the bus circle for our school buses. As always at the Elementary School the bus circle is designated only for school buses.
