In order to create that plan, we are looking for the community's perspective. The following links will take you to a Thought Exchange and a brief survey to help capture some key information:
Thought Exchange: https://tejoin.com/934099575

New guidance from the NYS Department of Health was released today stating the following regarding Vaccine Boosters for students :
"Extracurricular or after school activities: Individuals 12 years and older who are
eligible for a booster but not boosted, and who have been exposed to an
individual with COVID-19, cannot participate in extracurricular or after school
activities and, aside from school attendance for instruction and bus travel, must
adhere to a 5-day quarantine at home. Fully vaccinated 5-11-year-old children
are not eligible for a booster and have no further restrictions."
The noted restriction on student participation in sports and activities for vaccinated, unboosted children who are eligible for the booster is new.
We expect further clarification on the enforcement of this measure in the coming days. The District believes it is important for our community to know this information in order to make informed decisions of their own.
