The Morrisville-Eaton Central School District will induct two distinguished alumni into the 2022 class of its Wall of Fame. This year’s inductees – Andrew Fowler and John Stewart will be recognized during an October 1st ceremony at 11:00 a.m. in the Middle/High School Auditorium. The ceremony will be prior to the Homecoming football game that starts at noon. During halftime, we will also have a recognition to the two inductees. We look forward to having you join us for some or all of the events! The MECS Wall of Fame was established to recognize outstanding alumni who have achieved distinction in their lives and chosen fields through significant contributions to their careers and community or personal achievements. This honor is meant to stand as a model and incentive to current and future students, and to recognize the foundation that a quality public education at Morrisville-Eaton played in each recipient’s success. Honorees were nominated and evaluated by a committee of community and school district stakeholders. Nominees were eligible if they have an MECS diploma or attended the district for a significant portion of their education, graduated at least 10 years ago, have an appreciation for their MECS education, and have demonstrated leadership, character and service in their profession and community involvement. The Wall of Fame Class of 2022: Andrew Fowler, Class of 1997 John Stewart, Class of 1969 On behalf of the entire Morrisville-Eaton school district and community, congratulations to our two newest members of the Wall of Fame. To nominate an alumnus for this distinction: send the nomination, which is available at both buildings and on the district's website, to the District Clerk at 5061 Fearon Road, PO Box 990, Morrisville, NY 13408 or via e-mail to jshantal@m-ecs.org. The nomination period will be open during the school year, until June 30th, for the following October inductions. If you have any questions, please call Jodi Shantal at 315-684-9300.
